Welcome to our family farm!

We’re Al and Sookie, and we’re so glad you’re here. Nestled in the heart of East Texas, Athens Christmas Tree Farm is more than just a place to find a beautiful tree—it’s a place to make memories, share traditions, and enjoy the simple joys of the season.

We started this farm with a shared passion for growing things and a love for Christmas. Al’s a master carpenter who’s happiest working with his hands and building things that last. Sookie’s a talented tailor who puts care and craftsmanship into everything she touches. Together, we’ve poured that same care into planting, nurturing, and growing our trees.

Every tree in our field has been lovingly tended throughout the year so that, come Christmastime, your family can enjoy the fresh scent, beauty, and tradition of choosing and cutting your own tree.
